Big difference here regarding the type of service offered. Flair artists juggle bottles and generally entertain whilst making cocktails. Mixologists build cocktails with cocktail shakers etc but do not throw the bottles around. A flair artist is by definition also a mixologist but a mixologist is not a flair artist! Flair artists are therefore much more expensive (usually around £300 for the session) whereas Mixologists are about £180 for the evening. We have had occasions where we have been expecting 100 and found there to be 150 plus on the day. This not only creates a problem with regards to your invoice ! but also means that you run the risk of the bar running dry and service suffering. No-one likes to wait too long to be served and the situation can easily escalate into many unhappy guests. Bartenders are pretty good at head counts and you do not want a problem like this to interfere with your special occasion.

No matter how big a drinker your best man is (!!) you will only need 1 or 2 kegs (at the most) for any wedding that is expecting in the region of 120-150 guests Make sure your bar provider has packaged options as back up and you will have plenty. There are about 88 pints in a standard 11 gallon keg.

No more than 6, and I usually recommend 4. This is because of the pre-prep required, the effect too much choice can have on the quality of service and the number of ingredients you will need to pay for.

We always suggest a bride and groom cocktail in conjunction with a full bar menu. But be aware that they are usually more expensive on a pay bar service and your guests (unless real Mojito lovers!) will probably choose another drink from the menu.
