A mobile bar for a minimum of 100 people needs to be at least 4m in length otherwise service will be slow - and no-one likes to wait for their drink!
-
Order a minimum of 5 glasses per guest. You don't want your bartenders to have to dash to the nearest sink to wash up while your guests prop up the bar.
-
Don't forget that the bar is often the first thing your guests will seek out. So make sure your bar stands out from the crowd! Gorgeous drapes, unusual counter colours, illumination effects, or eco-friendly bamboo. It will make a HUGE difference to your event.
-
A word of warning about circular bars! They may have an instant appeal but be aware of an inherent design flaw, what we like to call the 'mess effect'. Put simply, your guests will be able to see the back of bar production mess from wherever they stand. -
Get someone else to stock the bar for you. The last thing you will want at the end of a busy night is to have to sort out the un-breached stock from the breached, arrange for transportation and storage and bemoan the fact that you ordered far too much wine and it's not on sale or return! Starting at just £15 + VAT per guest, you can leave the headache to us!

Cocktail bars are truly fabulous. Remember that mixologists build and flair bartenders entertain. You will always need a good mixologist as well as flair!
-
Don't miss the opportunity to add a personal touch by personalising the names of your cocktails - great fun and makes for a night to remember.
-
Hire your bartenders for an hour before and an hour after your event times. You will want them to prepare the bar and clean up afterwards. And a good bartender always keeps on top of any mess as he or she serves!
-
You will need approximately 1 good quality bartender per 50 guests. Don't go for less to try and save money as service will suffer.
-
Stock your fridges at least 4 hours before the start of your party to make sure that your drinks are fully chilled for your guests as soon as they arrive.
-
If you are holding a high volume event, choose ice bins instead of fridges - they are far more efficient at chilling, service will be much quicker and they can be hidden behind the bar.
